He was recognized as an Italian citizen since birth by jure sanguinis in 2005.[3] He has won several awards, including four Grammy Awards[4][5] and multiple Juno Awards.[6]

His first album reached the top ten in Canada and the UK. He found a worldwide audience with his 2005 album It's Time, and his 2007 album Call Me Irresponsible which reached number one on the Canadian Albums Chart, the UK Albums Chart, the US Billboard 200, the Australian ARIA Albums Chart and several European charts.

Bublé's 2009 album Crazy Love debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 after three days of sales, and remained there for two weeks. It was also his fourth number one album on Billboard's Top Jazz Albums chart. His 2011 holiday album, Christmas, was in first place on the Billboard 200 for the final four weeks of 2011 and the first week of 2012, totalling five weeks atop the chart, it also made the top 5 in the United Kingdom. With this, Christmas became his third-consecutive number-one album on the chart. To Be Loved was released in April 2013.

Bublé wrote the lyrics of "Everything" for his then girlfriend Emily Blunt.[1][2] He later explained: "I wrote the song about the great happiness of real love, but at the same time I was making a statement about the world. We're living in really crazy times, and I wanted to say that no matter what's happening, this person in my life is what really makes it worthwhile."[3] Unlike Bublé's other work, this song strays away from being big band oriented, carrying some elements of pop and rock.[4] It is completely devoid of a horn section, as well as being guitar driven. A piano and an acoustic guitar carry the main melody of the song, with electric guitars audible in the chorus. Bublé's vocal arrangement is also different from his previous material; his voice often makes big interval changes in most of his material, but his voice in this particular song is projected smoothly without going into loud intervals. It is comparable to his previous hit single, "Home", from the album It's Time.

The music video for the song features scenes of Bublé performing the song into a mic, as well as holding an open audition for actors and entertainers to appear in the video, finally choosing the right candidate at the end. The video was posted on the popular video sharing site YouTube, where to date it has received over 50 million hits. In Italy, the song topped the digital singles chart in April 2007, before reaching the top of the overall singles chart over a year later in June 2008.[5]

"Haven't Met You Yet" is the first single from Canadian singer Michael Bublé's fourth album, Crazy Love, released on August 31, 2009.[1] According to Bublé, the single and its official music video are "about everyone's dream of finding a relationship and love."[2] Bublé co-wrote "Haven't Met You Yet" with Alan Chang and Amy Foster-Gilles, and dedicated it to his then fiancée and now wife, Luisana Lopilato (who appears as his love interest in the music video).[3][citation needed]

The song has proven successful on the adult contemporary charts, reaching number one in the U.S. on the chart week of January 30, 2010[4] and becoming the first song in history to debut at number one on Billboard Canada's AC chart.[5][6] It is Bublé's third #1 single on the adult contemporary charts after "Home" and "Everything".[6] It was also a big success on the Billboard Hot 100, where the song reached #24, so far, being his highest single on the Billboard charts.[4] The song entered the United Kingdom Singles Chart on the October 18, 2009 at number 9, making it his first top 10 hit in the UK, eventually climbing up to number 5 in its third week. The song won Single of the Year at the 2010 Juno Awards and

Home was first released on March 28, 2005, as Bublé's debut single in the United Kingdom. It received a relatively low promoted release, as at the time, the lead single from It's Time, Feeling Good, had only just been released in other territories around the world. As such, it underperformed heavily, only peaking at #162 on the UK Singles Chart. When the album was released three months later, to much more widespread success and critical acclaim, it was decided that Home would be released as the album's second single worldwide, accompanied by a re-release of the single in the United Kingdom. As such, the second time around, the single was a massive hit, topping the adult contemporary chart in the United States, reaching a high chart position in Canada, and peaking at a relatively successful #31 in the United Kingdom. This time, the release was accompanied by a music video, directed by Noble Jones, who had previously filmed the video for Feeling Good. The song was also used in the film The Wedding Date.

Subsequently, two cover versions of the song have also been released as singles by other artists. The first of these was recorded by Irish boyband Westlife, whose version was a top ten hit in several European countries. American country music singer Blake Shelton also released his version in early 2008, which reached the top of the American country singles charts. In December 2011, Bublé performed a duet version of the song with English singer-songwriter Gary Barlow, whilst also performing Barlow's "Rule the World". The performance gained great reception from fans, when it began trending worldwide on Twitter.[1] Soon after, a petition was set up for the collaboration to be made available for digital download, to challenge for the UK Christmas Number One spot.[2]

"Home" centralizes on the male narrator, who is separated from his lover, possibly his wife, while off travelling. He expresses a desire to return home and be with his lover. Bublé had been away touring in Italy when he co-wrote the lyrics, for his then-fiancée, Debbie Timuss. Bublé describes his loneliness from missing her in the lyrics.[3] Aaron Latham of Allmusic, in his review of It's Time, described the song favorably. He called it a "positive step forward" for Bublé, adding "The success of this ballad provides yet another direction that he can explore and expand upon."[4]

"It Had Better Be Tonight (Meglio Stasera)" was later covered by Canadian crooner Michael Bublé, and released as the fourth single from his third studio album, Call Me Irresponsible. Bublé's version of the song is an adaptation of the musical arrangement previously made for Lena Horne.

"Save The Last Dance For Me" was later covered by Canadian crooner Michael Bublé, and released as the third and final single from his second major-label studio album, It's Time. The song was heavily remixed for its release as a single.

For its release as a single, the song was heavily remixed, with mixes from producers including Ralphi Rosario and Eddie Baez. All of the chart positions for the single are for each of the remixed versions of the song respectively. The single first peaked at #22 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart in September 2005.[8] After Bublé performed the album version of the song during the closing credits of the film The Wedding Date,[9] this version was released to radio, peaking at #5 on the Billboard adult contemporary chart, as well as reaching #99 on the Billboard Hot 100.[10] The music video for the track was once again directed by Noble Jones, who directed the videos for both of the album's previous singles – Home and Feeling Good. The music video was choreographed by Raymondo Chan, a Salsa Latin dance coach and performer. It was shot in Vancouver, Canada.

"Spider-Man" is the theme song of the 1967 cartoon show Spider-Man, composed by Academy Award winner Paul Francis Webster and Robert "Bob" Harris. The song's opening lines, "Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can," have become as synonymous with the Marvel Comics character as his costume. The original song was recorded at RCA Studios in Toronto (where the cartoon was also produced) featuring 12 CBC vocalists (members of the Billy Van Singers, and Laurie Bower Singers groups) who added to the musical backing track supplied by RCA Studios, New York. The singers were paid only for the session and have had no residuals from its use since then.

"You Don't Know Me" is a song written by Cindy Walker based on a title and storyline given to her by Eddy Arnold in 1955. "You Don't Know Me" was first recorded by Arnold that year and released as a single on April 21, 1956 on RCA Victor.

The first version of the song to make the Billboard charts was by Jerry Vale in 1956, peaking at #14 on the pop chart. Arnold's version charted two months later, released as an RCA Victor single, 47-6502, backed with "The Rockin' Mockin' Bird", which reached #10 on the Billboard country chart. Cash Box magazine, which combined all best-selling versions at one position, included a version by Carmen McRae that never appeared in the Billboard Top 100 Sides listing.
