Werner Böhm (born June 5, 1941 in Thorn , Greater Danzig West Prussia ), also known as Gottlieb Wendehals, is a German singer and musician .

Werner Böhm was a pianist at the "Cabinet Jazzmen" in Hamburg at the end of the 1950s until the beginning of the 1960s, which at that time was one of the most popular jazz bands in northern Germany. There he had replaced the first pianist of the band, Kaschi Jöhnck, who had emigrated to San Diego, California.

So he had already 16 years in Germany. After his apprenticeship as a upholsterer, he earned his money as a department store decorator. From 1970 to 1971 he was jazz pianist in Hamburg among others in the "Jazz House" ("Knuds"), "Riverkasematten", "Logo", "Dennis Swing Club", "Cotton Club", "Remter" and legendary " Uncle Pö " of the Hamburg scene .

Böhm accompanied in his years on the wing music greats such as Louis Armstrong ,Ella Fitzgerald and Erroll Garner .
