René Baumann (born 5 January 1968), better known as DJ BoBo, is a Swiss singer-songwriter, dancer and music producer. He has sold 14 million records worldwide and has released 12 studio albums as well as a few compilation albums which have included his previous hits in a reworked format. DJ BoBo has also released as many as 34 singles to date, some of which have charted high, not only in German speaking countries, but also in other European territories.

As a dance music producer, his first big success came with the single "Somebody Dance with Me", which borrows its melody from Rockwell's Somebody's Watching Me. After this, he charted with the singles "Keep on Dancing", "Take Control", "Everybody", "Let the Dream Come True", "Love Is All Around", "Freedom", "Pray" and "What a Feeling", as well as "Chihuahua", almost all of which comprised fast-paced Eurodance sound with female vocals and rap verses performed by René.

Between 1992 through 2007, he had 27 single chart-hits in Switzerland and Germany, and has won 10 World Music Awards for being Switzerland's best selling artist. René has received numerous Gold and Platinum certifications for his singles and albums and has found success in Europe (primarily in Germany and Switzerland), Asia and South America.

Chihuahua" is a song recorded by Swiss artist DJ BoBo. It was the first single from his tenth album, Visions, and was released in late 2002 and early 2003 in many countries. It was his most successful single, topping the charts in France and Switzerland and becoming one the summer hit of the year. It can also be considered as DJ BoBo's signature song.

Love Is All Around" is a song by Swiss artist DJ BoBo. It was released in January 23 of 1995 as the second single from the album, There Is a Party. The song reached number one on the dance charts in Canada. It also reached the top 20 in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland.

There Is a Party is the second studio album released by the Swiss singer-songwriter DJ BoBo. It was released on 21 October 1994 through the Fresh Music, Metrovynil as well as EAMS Lesser record labels on compact disc, 12-inch gramophone record and music cassette formats. The album, which belongs to the musical genre of electronic music was later re-released in 1995 via BMG Records and enjoyed massive commercial success worldwide.
