French Affair is a German-French pop-dance band, established in 1999, which have found biggest popularity in German speaking countries. They scored a number of hits in Europe between 2000 and 2003, including "My Heart Goes Boom (La Di Da Da)", "Do What You Like", "Sexy" and "Comme ci comme ça".

My Heart Goes Boom (La Di Da Da)" is a song by German-French dance pop act French Affair. It was released in January 2000 as the lead single from their debut album Desire. The song became a major hit worldwide, reaching the top five in France, Switzerland and Italy. It topped the charts in Germany and Austria. Although the song is in English, it contains a verse sung in French.
