Using a Midi instead of a Style ?
I have been thinking for a while now that styles by there very nature are repetitive
and also playing along with a style is relatively easy until you start changing OTS
or registrations or trying to add pads  ( depending on the keyboard your using )

So  I am thinking of trying to create my own midi backing file that I can use instead
of styles to play along with, I would still be playing both melody and chords using both hands
but this would allow me to add all the fiddle bits in a that go to make it sound real in the midi
and all I would need to do is to keep up with it  :D

Has anyone tried this before ? if so where would a good point to start be ?
I am thinking of going down the multi track recording route first unless someone
can say otherwise ?

I have not tried this on PA3x before, but it seems like a good idea! ;)
Gives you feedback on how it works?

Good luck; there are certainly some that are more technical than me on this, and can help you! ;)
