Michael Larsen (born July 14, 1965 ) is a German singer , presenter , composer and lyricist .

Born in Mechernich ( Eifel ), he went to Oberhausen in the Ruhr area during the first year of his life , where his parents opened a painting shop. After the elementary school, he went to the local Novalis High School, where Michael Larsen completed his high school diploma in 1986. After many years at the Lower Rhine, Michael Larsen now lives in Bad Salzuflen, in the east of Germany .

Michael Larsen, began piano lessons at the age of five and later learned guitar. Already at the end of his school years, he laid the foundation for his career in the German-speaking music business and completed his first performances as a solo artist. A little later, during his civilian service at the German Red Cross, he applied for the golden tuning fork as the best newcomer of the year, as part of the "Star of Tomorrow" competition.
