Traditional Stringband music is evolving like never before. Meadow Mountain is certainly part of that innovative trend, combining a wide range of influences with an astounding work ethic to produce really quality music that belies their age. But what sets this band apart is their distinct connection to all the best parts of traditional bluegrass, a connection that is increasingly rare among modern bands in this age of evolution.

It's apparent in their astounding musicianship, their vocal harmonies, their songwriting, their attention to detail and the soulful tones that make bluegrass so unique. It doesn't define them, but it does set them apart. Meadow Mountain is crafting strong original music that represents bluegrass in the best possible way, and I couldn't be more proud of what we accomplished with this debut album. Big things are ahead for this excellent young band!
