Olaf Henning (* 14. March 1968 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German composer , pop singer and entrepreneur .

Henning already received piano lessons as a pupil and founded his own band. He worked for eleven years as an insurance buyer .

His musical career began with the self-composed title I'm no longer your clown (The Manege is empty) . The single appeared in 1997 and sold over 100,000 times. Other songs like Maddalena (with Michael Holm , Hennings highest chart position), Red Alert and Herzdame followed.

In October 2000, with his title The Game is out (Game Over) , he won the monthly rating of the ZDF hit parade well ahead of Nino de Angelo and GG Anderson . In December 2000, he took third place at the ZDF- Jahrahritparade, his hit cowboy and Indian in 2006 initiated a dance, the so-called lasso dance . Although the first version was recorded as early as 2000, it was the big breakthrough with the lasso dance , which was invented by the Mallorca Cowboys .

Besides his musical activities, Olaf Henning also had his own music club, the "Deluxe" in Gelsenkirchen, where he performed irregularly as a disc jockey .
