Laura Pausini (Faenza, 16 May 1974) is a singer, songwriter and television presenter Italian.

He started his career in 1993, winning the Sanremo Festival in the new with the song Solitude. She participated again in 1994, finishing in third place with the song Strange Loves.

La Solitudine is a song interpreted by the Italian singer Laura Pausini and published in 1993 as a single launch of his eponymous debut album. The music of the song are composed Valsiglio Angelo and Pietro Cremonesi, while the text is signed by the same Cremonesi together with Federico Cavalli.

The song was in the Sanremo Festival of Italian Song in 1993, getting the victory in the news section and allowing Laura Pausini to achieve popularity in their home country.
