After the Lovin'" is a single by Engelbert Humperdinck, composed by Ritchie Adams with lyrics by Alan Bernstein. The single was a U.S. top-ten hit in late 1976/early 1977, reaching number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and number five on the Cash Box Top 100.

It became a RIAA gold record. It is ranked as the 61st biggest U.S. hit of 1977. The song also reached number 40 on the country singles chart and spent two weeks atop the easy listening chart.

In Canada, "After the Lovin'" reached number seven and was the 80th biggest Canadian hit of 1977. It also reached number one on the Canadian Adult Contemporary chart.

In New Zealand, the song spent one week at number one, and was the 10th biggest hit of 1977.

The song failed, however, to chart in the UK, despite Humperdinck's earlier successes.

Release Me" (sometimes rendered as "Release Me (and Let Me Love Again)"), is a popular song written by Eddie Miller and Robert Yount in 1949. Shortly afterward it was covered by Jimmy Heap, and with even better success by Ray Price and Kitty Wells. Subsequently, a big seller was recorded by Little Esther Phillips, who reached number one on the R&B chart and number eight on the pop chart.  A version by Engelbert Humperdinck reached number one on the UK Singles Chart.

The Engelbert Humperdinck song has the distinction in the UK of holding the number-one slot in the chart for six weeks during March and April 1967, and preventing The Beatles single, "Penny Lane" / "Strawberry Fields Forever", from reaching the top. "Release Me" was also the highest selling single of 1967 in the UK, recording over one million sales, and eventually became one of the best selling singles of all time with sales of 1.38 million copies.

The song, originally recorded in two different versions by Tony Renis and Emilio Pericoli, competed in the Sanremo Music Festival in 1962, where it placed fourth, and later became a commercial success in Italy, topping the Musica e dischi singles chart. American entertainer Pat Boone, who recorded the song in 1962, sang the English lyrics written by Ervin Drake.

The song is one of the best-selling singles of all time, with more than 50 million sold.

"A Man Without Love" was the British entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1966, performed in English by Kenneth McKellar.

The song is a ballad, with McKellar comparing a man without love and a man with love. He explains that a man without love is "only half a man, this nothing", and a man "with love is everything in life".

For the performance of the song in Luxembourg, McKellar wore the traditional Scottish kilt.

"A Man Without Love" peaked at no. 30 in the UK Singles Chart in March 1966.

It was performed eighteenth and last on the night, following Ireland's Dickie Rock with "Come Back to Stay". At the close of voting, it had received eight points (five from Ireland and three from Luxembourg), placed ninth in a field of 18 (the worst placing for the United Kingdom until 1978.

It was succeeded as British representative at the 1967 contest by Sandie Shaw with "Puppet on a String".
