Alessandra Amoroso (Galatina, August 12, 1986) is an Italian singer and television personality.

It achieves success in 2009 thanks to the participation and victory at the eighth edition of the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi.

Today, after the publication of six studio albums (one in Spanish), a live album, an EP and 22 singles, the FIMI certifies its total sales to more than 1,360,000 copies   receiving various discs d 'gold, platinum and multiplatinum. She has won 6 times the Wind Music Awards for its sales, and in 2014 he won in the categories Best Italian Act and Best Europe South Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards, where he also earned a nomination for Best Wordwide Act. It also received other nominations World Music Award, the TRL Awards and the Kids' Choice Awards. In 2009 he served as co-host of the TV program Thanks to all. Stupid is the EP debut soloist, the Italian singer Alessandra Amoroso, published April 10, 2009 by the record label Epic Records and distributed by Sony BMG.

The album got a great commercial success, overcoming the first 35,000 copies sold in pre - order; Alessandra Amoroso has thus won his first gold record. On 23 April 2009 the ep is certified by Sony BMG Platinum for more than 70,000 copies sold, award that will be presented April 25 to leave you a song by Antonella Clerici.
