D.O.N.S. (bürgerlicher Name Oliver Goedicke) ist ein deutscher House-DJ und Musikproduzent.

Karriere
Die Debütsingle von D.O.N.S (Designer on Sound), mit der er auf sich aufmerksam machte, war Drop the Gun. Sie war die erste Veröffentlichung des deutschen Labels Kontor Records und gelangte in die Top 100 der deutschen Single Charts. Später produzierte er Hits wie Pump Up the Jam und Big Fun (Original von Inner City), und remixte John Dahlbäcks Everywhere, Blink, Greg Cerrones Invincible und Bob Sinclars What I Want. Seine Diskografie enthält bereits über 300 Veröffentlichungen. Aktuell erscheinen D.O.N.S. Produktionen auf seinem eigenen Label Kingdom Kome Cuts.

Oliver Goedicke ist gleichzeitig Geschäftsführer der Label unlimited sounds GmbH, Dos or Die, Kingdom Kome Cuts und Ovations aus Hamburg.

D.O.N.S. ist Resident-DJ bei den Radiosendern Radio FG, BBC Radio 1 und egoFM.

"Pump Up the Jam" is the opening track on Belgian act Technotronic's album Pump Up the Jam: The Album. Released as a single, it was a worldwide hit, reaching number two in the United Kingdom in 1989 and in the American Billboard Hot 100 in early 1990. The song was later certified triple platinum. Vocalist Ya Kid K was initially overshadowed by Congolese model Felly Kilingi, who appears lip-syncing in the music video and was featured on the first album cover as a marketing tactic.

Ya Kid K was ultimately recognized upon a U.S. tour and a repackaged album cover that featured her instead of Felly.  In 2005, it was remixed by DJ-producer D.O.N.S. and reached number one on the British Dance Chart. The Guardian featured the song on their A history of modern music: Dance in 2011.
