Elvis Presley recorded a live version of "The Wonder of You" in Las Vegas, Nevada in February 1970. The song was released as a single on April 20, 1970, backed by the song "Mama Liked the Roses". In the United States, both songs charted at #9 together in the spring of 1970. "The Wonder of You" was one of his most successful records in the UK ever, topping the UK Singles Chart for six weeks in the summer of that year. It is his fifth biggest seller in the UK to date, with sales of 891,000.  It also stayed at number one in the Irish Charts for three weeks that same year. This was the 59th Top 40 hit of his career. Presley's version also reached number 37 on the US Country Singles chart, and number one on the easy listening chart.

"The Wonder of You" was one of about thirty-five songs Elvis would regularly perform at concerts.

According to Peterson, "He [Elvis] asked me if I would mind if he recorded 'The Wonder of You.' I said, 'You don't have to ask permission; you're Elvis Presley.' He said, 'Yes, I do. You're Ray Peterson.'"

In 2016, an orchestral version of the song was released together with other orchestral versions of Elvis songs in the album The Wonder of You.

"Way Down" is a song recorded by Elvis Presley. Recorded in October 1976, it was his last single released before his death on August 16, 1977. The song was written by Layng Martine, Jr. and was later covered by Status Quo and Cliffhanger. Presley recorded the song at his home studio in Graceland on 29 October 1976.

Released as a single (with "Pledging My Love" on the B-side) on June 6, 1977, it was his single at the time of his death. It initially peaked at No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated August 6, 1977 and had fallen to No. 53 on the chart for the week ending August 27, 1977. Thereafter, it reversed direction and reached an even higher peak at No. 18 on 24 September – 1 October 1977. "Way Down" reached No. 1 on the American Country chart the week he died.  Overseas, the song hit the number one in the UK Singles Chart week ending 3 September for five weeks,  just over seven years after his previous 16th UK number one single, "The Wonder of You", in August 1970. His previous single, "Moody Blue", had been a number one hit on the US Country Charts earlier in 1977. "Way Down" was reissued in April 2005 and reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart.

The recording also featured J.D. Sumner singing the words "way on down" at the end of each chorus down to the note low C (C2). At the end of the song, this phrase is octaved, reaching a double low C (C1, three octaves below middle C).  This note was first accomplished by Sumner in a 1966 recording of the hymn "Blessed Assurance."

Viva Las Vegas is a 1964 American musical film starring Elvis Presley and actress Ann-Margret.

Directed by golden age Hollywood musical director George Sidney, the film is regarded by fans and by film critics as one of Presley's best movies, and it is noted for the on-screen chemistry between Presley and Ann-Margret. It also presents a strong set of ten musical song-and-dance scenes choreographed by David Winters and featured his dancers.

Viva Las Vegas was a hit at movie theaters, as it was #14 on the Variety year end box office list of the top-grossing movies of 1964.

One of 25 songs written by Pomus/Shuman for Elvis Presley, "Suspicion" was recorded by Presley on March 19, 1962 in Studio B of RCA's Nashville studio and issued on Presley's album Pot Luck released June 15, 1962. In April 1964, when the Terry Stafford version of "Suspicion" was in the Top Ten of the Billboard Hot 100, the Presley original was given a US single release with "Kiss Me Quick" as the flip, and it was "Kiss Me Quick" which was the favored side, reaching #34 nationally. "Suspicion" peaked at #103.

In Australia "Kiss Me Quick" and "Suspicion" appeared on the chart as a double A-side hit with a #56 peak: the actual format for this Australian release was a four track EP entitled Elvis Sings Kiss Me Quick' which featured "Kiss Me Quick" and "Suspicion" as A-side tracks with a B-side composed of "Sentimental Me" and "I Want You With Me".

Are You Sincere is a song written by Wayne Walker, originally released in 1957. Andy Williams released the song as a single under the Cadence Records label in 1958, with an orchestra conducted by Archie Bleyer, and it reached #3 on the Billboard chart. Since Williams' success the song has been covered many times in pop and country styles.

Elvis Presley recorded it on September 24, 1973 at his home in Palm Springs, California and it was released after his death, reaching #10 on the U.S. country chart. It appeared on Disc 4 of Walk a Mile in My Shoes: The Essential '70s Masters.

"What Now, My Love?" is the English title of a popular song whose original French version, "Et maintenant" (English: "And Now") was written in 1961 by composer Gilbert Bécaud and lyricist Pierre Delanoë. The recurring musical pattern in the background is the Boléro by Ravel. English lyrics and the title were written by Carl Sigman.

Early English versions of the song were recorded by Jane Morgan, Shirley Bassey and Ben E. King. Shirley Bassey's Columbia Single peaked at #5 on the United Kingdom charts in 1962.

Gilbert Bécaud's original version of this song topped the French chart in 1961. Director Claude Lelouch used the song at the climax of his 1974 film Toute une vie, which led to it being released in America under the title And Now My Love.

"Little Sister" is a rock and roll song written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman.  It was originally released as a single in 1961 by American singer Elvis Presley, who enjoyed a No. 5 hit with it on the Billboard Hot 100. The single (as a double A-side with "(Marie's the Name) His Latest Flame") also reached No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart.  Lead guitar was played by Hank Garland, with backing vocals by the Jordanaires featuring the distinctive bass voice of Ray Walker.

Kentucky Rain" was a 1970 hit song for Elvis Presley. Featuring pianist Ronnie Milsap and written by Eddie Rabbitt and Dick Heard, the single peaked at #16 on the pop charts. It was recorded at American Sound Studio.

Released as a single on January 29, 1970, "Kentucky Rain" was one of the early hits in the 1970s for Presley, though the song was not included on an album until the compilation package Worldwide 50 Gold Award Hits Vol. 1 (LPM-6401); while the track does appear on the 2000 re-release of From Elvis in Memphis, it was not included on the original 1969 album. During Presleys' February 1970 engagement, he performed it some sixteen times, introducing it as a new song "out about a week." Live versions are available on the box sets Elvis Aaron Presley and Live in Las Vegas.

The song depicts an anxious lover as he walks and drives through the "cold Kentucky rain" in search of his missing love.

(Marie's the Name) His Latest Flame" is a song recorded in a hit version by Elvis Presley and published by Elvis Presley Music in 1961. It was written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman and originally recorded by Del Shannon on the album Runaway With Del Shannon, which was released in June 1961.

The more famous and successful recording by Presley was released in August 1961. The relatively intense tune, featuring a Bo Diddley beat, performed well on both pop and easy listening stations, reaching No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, and No. 2 on the Easy Listening chart, based (at the time) on the Top 100. However, the single's Hot 100 chart run was atypical of a Top Ten hit.
