Milow ( Leuven , July 14, 1981 ), born as Jonathan Ivo Gilles Vandenbroeck , is a Belgian singer songwriter . The singer is known for his hits You Do not Know , Ayo Technology , You and Me (In My Pocket) and Little in the Middle, and was the major winner of the Music Industry Awards (MIAs) 2007 , 2008 and 2011 .

Milow was first heard on Humo's Rock Rally 2004. For the first time, he jumped to the final, but he just missed a podium. The jury called his cover of Bruce Springsteens Thunder Road the best of the latest edition and ruled that his song You Do not Know belonged to the strongest three of the match.
In January 2006 Milow released his first CD. The Bigger Picture was taken in-house, using producer Nigel Powell. To record the album, guest musicians were invited, including Sergej Van Bouwel ( Absynthe Minded ), Frederik Sioen and Johannes Verschaeve ( The Van Jets ).

In the same year, 2006, his single One of It earned the Settlement . In January 2007, the single You Do not Know also entered the Settlement where it was listed on number one for three weeks.
On June 28, 2007, Milow Rock Werchter opened in the Pyramid Marquee.

In early November, his single Dreamers and Renegades came out, which became a studio shot of studio Brussels after less than a week. The single was the forerunner of Milow's new album, Coming of Age , which was on track from February 1, 2008. Milow presented this new album on 6 February 2008 in Het Depot te Leuven .
The newspaper De Standaard has offered Milow a place on his weblog. On Off The Record , Milow reported on producing his records and wrote regularly about his life as a singer-songwriter.

On February 1, 2008, Milow won three of the MIAs of 2007 . Two public prizes: for "Best song" and "Best video clip". The music industry called him "Best Breakthrough".
On 7 June 2008, Milow TW Classic opened and on 13 July 2008 he opened Werchter Boutique . He became the first artist ever to play at all three of Werchter's festivals.
In September 2008, he released his own acoustic version of the single Ayo Technology . It is a cover of the single-digit single of 2007, 50 Cent , Justin Timberlake and Timbaland . The single took gold in Belgium , Denmark , Sweden and Switzerland .

In Germany, some 300,000 copies were sold worldwide, over half a million. It gave Milow a first platinum award. The Milow album also achieved gold status in Switzerland and Germany.
On December 24, 2008, Milow performed live at the Grote Markt in Breda for the audience of the Dutch version of the Glass House in the context of the 3FM action ' Serious Request '.
On February 6, 2009, Milow won five MIAs. He was therefore the biggest winner of the 2008 MIA issue . Milow received the prizes in the categories "Best Solo Man", "Best Video", "Best Pop", "Best Song" and "Best Download". In the summer of that year, he was given an entry in the American magazine Time Magazine with the number Ayo Technology .

On February 12, 2009, during an emerging snowstorm, he had an accident with a rental car in Iceland , where he was for recording a video clip for the single Out of My Hands . The car was total-loss, but there was no victim. On July 7, 2009, his tour bus broke off the German highway, but nobody got injured.
On September 29, 2009, Milow established a world record by making music at the bottom of the Pyhäsalmi mine in Finland . This concert took place at 1430 meters below sea level.

On December 16, 2009, Milow announced that his first single in Canada would be released in the near future. This was brought as great news, especially because Milow in his Canadian song of the Coming of Age album sings that it's his dream to ever act in Canada . This dream was then made in September 2010.
At the end of January 2010, Milow announced that he had recorded a duet version of his song Out of My Hands with the Norwegian singer Marit Larsen .

In April 2011, the new studio album was released: North and South . The album was co-founded with the collaboration of Tony Maserati and Dave Kutch. Both famous by major artists like Beyonce and Jason Mraz .
On December 10, 2011, Milow gained three more MIAs , bringing him to eleven statues in total. He was the biggest winner of the 2011 MIA's award . Milow received the prizes in the categories "Best Solo Man", "Best Pop" and "Best Live Act".
On July 1, 2012 Milow played at Rock Werchter . He was the closing of The Barn, and on October 2, 2012 he first played in Asia, namely in Beijing, China .

At the end of 2012 Milow won his twelfth MIA because in the 2012 MIAs he won the prize for "Best Pop".
In 2015 Milow joined Emma Bale , writing the number Fortune Cookie , which reached the first place in the Ultratop in early 2016.

Ayo Technology" is the fourth single from 50 Cent's third album, Curtis.  The song, featuring Justin Timberlake and uncredited vocals from Timbaland, who also produced the song, peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100. Internationally, the song peaked within the top ten of the charts in many countries, including Australia, Denmark and the United Kingdom.

The song has since been covered by Milow, a Belgian singer-songwriter whose version was successful in a number of countries, including Belgium, Spain, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. The song was also covered by Skyla, a British singer-songwriter whose version was popular in the dance genre and Katerine Avgoustakis, another Belgian singer, whose version was successful in Poland.
