Mr. Cannibale is an attraction of the Dutch amusement park Efteling .

This cups- like attraction opened3 May 1988, Mack Rides is the manufacturer. The Mayor of Loon op Zand inaugurated the merry-go-round as well as the new version of the neighboring Café-restaurant 1 .

Mr. Cannibale is located in the Reizenrijk section of the park. Called in French "Kingdom of the Voyage" or "Kingdom of the Adventure ", it is in the northern part of the park. This part is that of travel: around the world, in the air, in the dark or on the water.

This attraction has an originality because it is not in the form of cups of tea or coffee. The creative Efteling Henny Knoet created his version with a cannibal theme . It has also created the following attractions: the Garden of the toddlers (or Kleuterhof in Dutch ), the adventure labyrinth ( Avonturen Doolhof ), the old Teuf-Teuf ( D'Oude Tuffer ) station, the Pardoes promenade Pardoespromenade ), the Game Gallery , fairy tale stories . It was he who invented Pardoes , the mascot of the park 2 .

The cauldrons (red, blue or yellow) that can accommodate five people revolve on the joyful song " Cha-cha-cha Monsieur Cannibale" from 1966 performed in French by Sacha Distel and whose lyrics are by Maurice Tézé and the music by Gérard Gustin 3 . The explorer and the cannibal leader of the song are present on the three-meter high column, at the center of attraction .

Since 2002 , the attraction has been covered with a roof made of large reeds, so that the attraction can also function in bad weather or in winter. This roof was created by the creative Michel den Dulk .
