The Hurts are a British synth pop band formed in Manchester by singer Theo Hutchcraft and keyboardist Adam Anderson.

They have enjoyed success on a European scale, but especially in the United Kingdom, during 2010, thanks to the individual Wonderful Life and Better Than Love, who anticipated the release of the debut album Happiness, which has sold over 2 million copies.

They had a first success with a remix of their song Wonderful Life performed by Arthur Baker, entered the rankings in Denmark and Austria, reaching respectively the eighth and the twenty-first position of the rankings of the single local.In the first months of 2010 was published the their debut single, Better Than Love, of good success in the UK, and they played for the first time live.

The singers anticipated the release of their debut album, Happiness, published for the RCA record label on August 27, 2010 in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, on September 6, 2010 in the UK and on September 8 in Scandinavia. album contains a duet with the famous Australian singer Kylie Minogue.

Concurrent with the release of their first album, the single Better Than Love [6] and Wonderful Life were released, in particular the latter of good success in several countries. In Italy, the album debuted at the sixteenth position in the sales rankings. [8]
