(Ralf Arnie/Klaus-Günther Neumann/Ernst Bader)
(o):   Jean Walter (1956)   label: Polydor
Conceived in '53 by singer Klaus-Günter Neumann who visited the flower fields in Keukenhof (Holland) after his show in the Amsterdam Tuschinski theater. Gerhard Wendland was supposed to cut it first, but as he was ill that day, Belgian singer Jean Walter took over, with both a German and a Dutch version, Tulpen Uit Amsterdam, a big hit in B; lyrics: Jos Dams/Leo Camps. May be inspired by the Flower Waltz from Tschaikowsky's Nutcracker Suite.
