Giorgia Todrani [, simply known as Giorgia (Rome, 26 April 1971), is a singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and presenter Italian radio.

Among the most famous singers in Italy, had sales also recorded in other countries of Europe, Canada and Latin America. Characterized by a soulful voice with a broad extension, his stamp is distinguished by clarity, color and versatility.

In career he has sold over seven million records, with 12 albums in the Italian top-ten, five of which arrived at number one, and 25 top-ten singles including 5 number one. He participated four times in the Sanremo Festival in the category Big obtaining the first, third and second place, while in the fall of 1993 he won the Sanremo Giovani competition; in the edition of 1995, which turned out winner, won four awards - First Place Big, Critics Award (the first singer to win both major awards), Authors Prize and Radio and TV Award. In his career he has also won 8 Italian and Wind Music Awards, a Lunezia Award and a silver belt, and received a nomination for the David di Donatello.

The following year, Giorgia returns to the Festival of Sanremo interpreting the song How to know (written with Eros Ramazzotti, Adelio Cogliati and Vladi Tosetto), with whom he won the victory and become the first artist to receive at the same time the Critics Prize (today award Mia Martini), a fact that later will repeat with Elisa in 2001, Simon and Garfunkel in 2007 and Roberto Vecchioni in 2011. Being also the first artist from Rome to establish itself in the festival, the then Mayor Francesco Rutelli promotes the "ambassador of Roman ".

In the spring of 1995 Giorgia is invited to perform in the presence of Pope John Paul II in the churchyard of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican where he sings the Ave Maria by Renato Serio, a spiritual and Bridge Over Troubled Water. The March 28, 1995 co-leads with Pippo Baudo the music television program Top Italian Sanremo in which the singer had also attended the previous year.

It is then released the album Come Thelma & Louise, who made his debut at the second position of FIMI and sells 300,000 copies in a few weeks in total then exceeded 400,000. Elton John wants her as a guest of honor in his Italian tour. The British singer-songwriter called to Giorgia "one of the most beautiful voices of the world" .. In 1999, the song was also recorded the Spanish version for the Latin market, Como saber.

Di sole e d'azzurro is a song of 2001 of the Italian singer Giorgia. Performed for the first time live on February 26th on the stage of the Ariston Theatre during the first episode of the Sanremo Festival, she was then placed second behind Luce (Tramonti northeast) of Elisa.

Of this song there is a "studio version" sung in English, entitled With You.

The song bears the signature of Sugar, which has entirely written text, and his collaborators Matteo Saggese and Mino Vergnaghi for the musical part. Never released as a single CD, was a trailblazer for album of Giorgia Without wings, released its March 2, 2001, near the Festival participation, where at first it was given to favored by the press.

In 2002, The sun and blue has been used for a Barilla spots in France and released as a single. The song has paused for 16 weeks in the French ranking of best-selling singles, reaching the 31st position.
