Ute Freudenberg (born January 12, 1956 in Weimar , temporary artist name Heather Jones ) is a German pop and pop singer .

In 1971 Ute Freudenberg was discovered as a singing stalemate at the " Ferienpark Feuerkuppe" in Straußberg near special houses in the Kyffhäuserkreis at the age of 15 years . In 1972, she competed with five other girls in a junior competition for female musical talents. In the same year she had her first TV appearance at Six Girls and Music . From 1972 to 1977 she studied at the Franz-Liszt-Musikhochschule in her hometown. In 1976, she was a founding member of the Rock Band Elefant , which released two LPs and twelve singles. On 15 March 1984, Ute Freudenberg married the 13-year-old Stuntman Peter Pieper, from whom she parted in 2010. She relocated to Düsseldorf , worked as a studio artist and had appearances in the Netherlands and on cruise ships. On 23 March 2002 Ute Freudenberg celebrated her 30th anniversary stage with her band and numerous guests in Weimar. There followed many TV appearances and 2003 the OSTival tour together with the Puhdys and City . The album In the name of love appeared, produced by Franz Bartzsch and Bodo Kommnick . In October 2006, the album Puppenspieler appeared , which again was developed in collaboration with Ute's original authors such as Franz Bartzsch, Herbert Stanzius and Kirsten Steineckert. From summer 2007 onwards, Ute Freudenberg was part of the " Ostrock" classics tour with the Puhdys, Karat, Silly , Veronika Fischer , Werther Lohse from Lift , Dirk Michaelis and the Babelsberg Filmorchester , where the artists presented numerous old hits in a new guise.

In 2011 she made it in duet with Christian Lais with the title Auf den Dächern from Berlin up to number one on the German Radio-Schlager-Charts. In the single sales charts, the title was ranked 25th in the first week. Later, they and Lais received a Golden Record for the album Undecided . Together, the duo was nominated for an Echo 2012 . Dirk Michaelis as well as the film orchestra Babelsberg, where the artists presented numerous old hits in a new guise.
