Fleetwood Mac are a British-American band formed in 1967, in London. The band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands of all time. In 1998, selected members of Fleetwood Mac were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and received the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.

The two most successful periods for the band were during the late 1960s British blues boom, when they were led by guitarist Peter Green and achieved a UK number one with "Albatross";  and from 1975 to 1987, as a more pop-oriented act, featuring Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.

Rumours, Fleetwood Mac's second album after the incorporation of Buckingham and Nicks, produced four U.S. Top 10 singles and remained at No. 1 on the American albums chart for 31 weeks, as well as reaching the top spot in various countries around the world. To date, the album has sold over 40 million copies worldwide, making it the eighth-highest-selling album of all time.

The band achieved more modest success between 1971 and 1974, when the line-up included Bob Welch, during the 1990s in between the departure and return of Nicks and Buckingham, and during the 2000s when Christine McVie was absent.

Due to numerous lineup changes, the only original member present in the band is drummer Mick Fleetwood. Although band founder Green named the group by combining the surnames of two of his former bandmates (Fleetwood and McVie) from John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, bassist John McVie played neither on their first single nor at their first concerts, as he initially decided to stay with Mayall. Keyboardist Christine McVie, who joined the band in 1970 while married to John McVie, has appeared on every album except the debut album, either as a member or as a session musician. She left the band in 1998 but returned in 2014.

"Little Lies" is a song by the English/American rock band Fleetwood Mac. It was the third single to be taken from their 1987 album Tango in the Night. As of 2016, it is their final top 10 hit in the US.

The song was composed by the band's keyboard player and vocalist, Christine McVie and her then-husband Eddy Quintela. When released, the song reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US (number 1 for four weeks on the American adult contemporary chart) and #5 on the UK Singles Chart. It continues to be played on radio stations as a classic hit of the late '80s, along with "Everywhere" and "Seven Wonders" released a year later. It was also accompanied by a music video, filmed on a farm, in and around its rustic buildings and fields. In "Little Lies" the singer would rather hear little lies than the unhappy truth from her lover, although near the end she admits "We're better off apart. Let's give it a try." Fleetwood Mac was known for singing about the group members' rocky relationships.

The single was also available on the 12-inch format, featuring an extended dance version, a dub version, and the single's B-side, "Ricky", a non-album track penned by Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham. A limited 12-inch picture disc was also released in the UK, and it was also the first Fleetwood Mac single to be issued on the cassette-single format.

"Don't Stop" is a song by the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, written by vocalist and keyboard player Christine McVie. Sung by guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, and McVie, it was a single taken from the band's 1977 hit album, Rumours. It is one of the band's most enduring hits, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard singles chart. In the UK market, "Don't Stop" followed "Go Your Own Way" as the second single from Rumours and peaked at No. 32. In the US, it was the third single released, and peaked at No. 3 in October 1977.

"Don't Stop" reflects Christine McVie's feelings after her separation from Fleetwood Mac's bass guitarist, John McVie, after eight years of marriage. "'Don't Stop' was just a feeling. It just seemed to be a pleasant revelation to have that 'yesterday's gone'," she remembers in The Fleetwood Mac Story: Rumours and Lies, "It might have, I guess, been directed more toward John, but I'm just definitely not a pessimist."
