Stevland Hardaway Morris (born Stevland Hardaway Judkins; May 13, 1950), known by his stage name Stevie Wonder, is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist. A child prodigy, he is considered to be one of the most critically and commercially successful musical performers of the late 20th century. Wonder signed with Motown's Tamla label at the age of 11, and he continued performing and recording for Motown into the 2010s. He has been blind since shortly after birth.

Among Wonder's works are singles such as "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours", "Superstition", "Sir Duke", "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" and "I Just Called to Say I Love You"; and albums such as Talking Book, Innervisions and Songs in the Key of Life.

He has recorded more than 30 U.S. top ten hits and received 25 Grammy Awards, one of the most-awarded male solo artists, and has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the top 60 best-selling music artists.

Wonder is also noted for his work as an activist for political causes, including his 1980 campaign to make Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday a holiday in the United States. In 2009, Wonder was named a United Nations Messenger of Peace.

In 2013, Billboard magazine released a list of the Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists to celebrate the US singles chart's 55th anniversary, with Wonder at number six.

"I Just Called to Say I Love You" is a ballad written, produced and performed by Stevie Wonder.

The song was first featured in the 1984 comedy The Woman in Red, along with two other songs by Wonder, and scored number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks from October 13 to October 27, 1984. It also became his tenth number-one on the R&B chart, and his fourth on the adult contemporary chart; it spent three weeks atop both charts, and for the same weeks as on the Hot 100.

The song also became Wonder's only solo UK number-one success, staying at the top for six weeks, in the process also becoming Motown Records' biggest-selling single in the UK, a distinction it still holds as of 2015. In addition, the song won both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for Best Original Song. The song also received three nominations at the 27th Grammy Awards for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Song of the Year and Best Pop Instrumental Performance.

There was a dispute among Wonder, his former writing partner Lee Garrett, and Lloyd Chiate as to who actually wrote the song. Chiate claimed in a lawsuit that he and Garrett wrote the song years before its 1984 release; however, a jury ultimately sided with Wonder.

The music video on YouTube has over 80 million views as of October, 2017.

"Isn't She Lovely" is a US promo single by Stevie Wonder from his 1976 album, Songs in the Key of Life.

In the song he celebrates the birth of his daughter, Aisha. There are three verses, each ending with the phrase "isn't she lovely, made from love" (or "so very lovely..."). The album version (which features on the B-side) opens with the sound of a baby crying, and the outro features Aisha as a baby. The radio edit (on the A-side) leaves out the crying baby sounds at the beginning and has a much shorter outro. Although the song was very popular and received much radio airplay, it did not chart on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 or UK chart because Stevie Wonder would not allow it to be released as a commercial 45 RPM single despite being asked to do so by Motown. It has been re-issued on various formats, including 7" and 12", since.

Nathan Watts said in an interview that he originally recorded a bass track for the song, but Wonder replaced it with his own keyboard bass for the final version.

Jamie Foxx and Stevie Wonder performed the song for Oprah Winfrey at her Surprise Spectacular in May 2011, with lyrics modified to refer to Winfrey.

Stevie Wonder performed this song live for Queen Elizabeth II at her Diamond Jubilee Concert on 4 June 2012, with lyrics modified to refer to the Queen.

"You Are the Sunshine of My Life" is a 1973 single released by Stevie Wonder. The song became Wonder's third number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and his first number-one on the Easy Listening chart. It won Wonder a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and was nominated for both Record of the Year and Song of the Year. This song was the second single released from the 1972 album entitled Talking Book, which stayed at number one on the R&B charts for three weeks.

Rolling Stone ranked the song #281 on their list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time".

The first two lines of the song are sung, not by Wonder, but by Jim Gilstrap; Lani Groves sings the next two. The single version of the song differs from the album version with the addition of horns to the mix; this version also made into the Greatest Hits LP Original Musiquarium.

Superstition is a song written in 1972 by Stevie Wonder, and recorded by Wonder for the album Talking Book, from which it was extracted as the first single. The song was produced by Wonder himself .

The song in 1973 won the Grammy Award for the best R & B song and the Grammy Award for "Best R & B Vocal Performance, Male".

In November 2004 Rolling Stone magazine ranked the song at position 74 of the list of the 500 best songs in history.

Wonder originally wrote Superstition for Jeff Beck, but his manager's insistence convinced him to record the song himself, while Beck was offered Cause We've Ended As Lovers, though he also recorded a cover of Superstition.

Superstition represented for Wonder a clear change compared to the songs he had recorded up to that moment, going from the typical Motown pop to a more personal style, which will permeate all his upcoming works.

The song speaks of superstitions, and mentions numerous popular beliefs in the text:

Thirteen-month-old baby
Broke the looking glass
Seven years of bad luck
The good things in your past

When you believe in things
That you do not understand
Then you suffer
Superstition is not the way
