Westlife were an Irish boy band, formed in Sligo in July 1998 and disbanded in June 2012. Originally signed by Simon Cowell and managed by Louis Walsh, the group's second and final line-up consisted of Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, and Shane Filan. Brian McFadden was a member from July 1998 until his departure in March 2004.

Westlife sold over 50 million records worldwide, a total that included studio albums, singles, video releases, and compilation albums. The group accumulated 14 number-one singles in the United Kingdom. They achieved a total of 26 UK top ten singles over their 14-year career. In 2012, the Official Charts Company listed Westlife 34th amongst the biggest-selling singles artists in British music history. Despite their success worldwide, Westlife never managed to break into the U.S. market, achieving only one hit single in 2000, "Swear It Again".

Based on BPI certifications, the group have sold 11.1 million albums and 6.8 million singles in the UK.

You Raise Me Up" is a song originally composed by Irish-Norwegian duo Secret Garden. The music was written by Secret Garden's Rolf Løvland and the lyrics by Brendan Graham. After the song was performed early in 2002 by the Secret Garden and their invited lead singer, Brian Kennedy, the song only became a minor UK hit. The song has been recorded by more than a hundred other artists including Josh Groban, who popularized the song in 2003; his rendition became a hit in the United States. The Irish band Westlife then popularized the song in the UK two years later.[1] "You Raise Me Up" is sung as a contemporary hymn in church services.

Uptown Girl" is a song written and performed by American musician Billy Joel. It was released on September 29, 1983, on his ninth studio album An Innocent Man (1983). The lyrics describe a working-class "downtown man" attempting to woo a wealthy "uptown girl."
The 12" EP featured the tracks "My Life", "Just the Way You Are" and "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me" (catalogue number TA3775),[2] whereas some 7" single versions featured "Careless Talk" as a B-side (TBC).[3]

Mandy", originally titled "Brandy", is a song written and composed by Scott English and Richard Kerr.[1]
"Brandy" was a hit in 1971 for Scott English in the UK and in 1972 for Bunny Walters in New Zealand, but achieved greater success when covered in 1974 by Barry Manilow in the US, with the title changed to from "Brandy" to "Mandy" to avoid confusion with Looking Glass's "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)". World of Our Own is the third studio album by Irish boy band Westlife. It was released through RCA Records on 12 November 2001. It reached number one in the United Kingdom and includes the singles "Queen of My Heart" (which was a double A-side with "When You're Looking Like That"), "World of Our Own" (which was a double A-side with "Angel"), "Bop Bop Baby", and the final single from the group's last album, "Uptown Girl". "Evergreen" was later covered by Will Young as his winner's single for the 2002 Pop Idol competition.
The album went 4x Platinum in the UK and is currently the fourteenth biggest selling boy band album ever in the UK.[1] In January 2005, the album was re-released in a 2-in-1 box set with the group's previous album, Coast to Coast.

"I'll See You Again" is a song by the English songwriter Sir Noël Coward.

It originated in Coward's 1929 operetta Bitter Sweet, but soon became established as a standard in its own right and remains one of Coward's best-known compositions. He told how the waltz theme had suddenly emerged from a mix of car-horns and klaxons during a traffic-jam in New York.

The song has been covered by a wide range of singers and groups, including Vera Lynn, Bryan Ferry and the Pasadena Roof Orchestra. Unbreakable" is a song recorded by Irish boy band Westlife. It was released on 30 September 2002 as the first single from their first greatest hits album, Unbreakable: The Greatest Hits Volume 1 (2002). It was composed in the traditional verse–chorus form in G major, with McFadden, Filan and Feehily's vocal ranging from the chords of D4 to C#6.

It became the band's eleventh UK number one. The song has received a silver disc sales certification in the UK for over 200,000 copies sold.
