Rudolf "Rudi" Bohn (born August 30, 1919 in Berlin, Germany , March 9, 1979 ) was a German musician ( piano , trombone , accordion ), arranger and orchestra leader of jazz and entertainment music .

Bohn studied piano and trombone in his birthplace. He was initially a trombonist with the Berliner Sinfonikern. From 1947 to 1952 he was the pianist in the quintet by Helmut Zacharias , with whom it also came to record recordings; From 1952 he played with Viktor Reschke in Hamburg.

From 1956 he worked as an arranger and bandleader for Teldec , Polydor and other record companies and played music from different genres to easy listening and popular music , partly also under a pseudonym (like Rubino & His Continentals ).

With his big band, he also appeared in television broadcasts, for example with Peter Frankenfeld .  With his orchestra or choir he accompanied Hans Albers ,  Evelyn Künneke and Karel Gott , for whom he also arranged. He is also to be heard on records of the Old Merry Tale jazz band .
